Folks:
Our Church Building Extension and Renovation is coming along towards completion and we look forward to going back to our own place soon. This past year has been a tremendous faith experience for us and we have many personal stories to tell of God’s faithfulness and leading.
Many of you were at church this past Sunday and heard the good news. Let me repeat it for those of you who were not there.
Late last week, the SFUSD agreed to allow us the use of Gordon J Lau Elementary School for another week. This means that we can still meet there this Sunday, June 14 2009. This will be our final Sunday meeting there.
We wished they could allow us more time but they have their own schedule to keep as they will be renovating the school as well during the summer break. We are within weeks of reoccupying parts of our renovated building.
However, God in His mercy and grace has provided for us in the interim. Through the generosity and the Kingdom-spirit of Cumberland Presbyterian Chinese Church they are opening their church facilities to us for worship on Sundays.
Therefore, from June 21 2009 through July 5 2009, we will be meeting at Cumberland Presbyterian Chinese Church at 865 Jackson Street (next to Chinese Hospital) for Sunday Worship. The Combined Services will be at 2 p.m.
We expect to reoccupy parts of our newly renovated building July 12.
The Lord is good!
